If you would like to watch something thoroughly wonderful, then may I recommend this? Mr Drew’s School for Boys is a series which started last night on Channel Four. It featured one of the best and most glorious adverts for the power of libraries that I have seen in a long time. Make sure to try and watch the whole thing if you can. It is moving, it is heartbreaking and it is brilliant.
And it made me realise anew how transformational a library can be.
